ABOUT ME

I am 58 years old and was literally born into a "Pug" family as my maternal grandparents had a kennel of award winning Pugs in the 1950's in Decatur, Illinois.
Right now I live with my boyfriend and able to stay at home with our 4 "babies" Pugs. We have Princessa who will be 9 in May, Bonita (which means Beautiful in Spanish) who was 5 this past October, Daisy who is about 4-5 (not sure exactly how old she is and our beautiful black baby and then we have Chula (which means Pretty) who we were fostoring for the DFW Pug Rescue Organization, then became our newest little girl (we were told that she is about 2-3 years old).

We 4 Texas girls are now 3. Bonita went to the Rainbow Bridge today and will be waiting for us when we, mommy and daddy get there. She is not by her self even now as she had a big brother (Prince Planchame), big sister (Princessa de Plata), nephew (Buki-Buk) and a niece (Misty) waiting to guide and take care of her!

A friend (who is an artist) did a portrait of my Bonita as a gift to us and it is in the picture gallery.
I have adopted 2 new pugs! Sophie and Sleepy Little Man who have helped me to grieve easier as I am busy loving 2 more. I think that Bonita sent them to us to keep us from grieving so hard for her!

We have been fostering a senior pug named Pugsley for the last month for the DFW Pug Rescue and will be adopting him in January, 2009.
This Christmas we have many blessings (6 Puglets), but it is still a sad time as well since it will be the first time in 6 years that my Bonita will not be with me. I am still sad and missing her, but having all the new puglets have eased my pain and sorrow of losing her.

Psst, Mommy makes these pawesome home-made pet vests! You should check them out at http://mrskisses13.myphotoalbum.com/ . If you click into the album and look at the last picture, you will see me in all my glory modeling a sample. The one I am wearing is one that someone made for our family, Mommy's looks very similar - but is shorter in length. Please let Mommy or I know if you are interested in a vest. She sure is proud of them!
